Brittany & Brian's Kingdom Hall ceremony & Colonial Inn, Norwood NJ wedding reception

September 09, 2015
Brian and Brittany
were married last weekend at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Nyack, NY.
It was a fun, relaxed morning as the girls got ready, with Brittany proclaiming that she was not nervous at all. She just couldn't wait to marry Brian!

Brittany is exceptionally close to her amazing grandparents, and told me that she had prayed to marry a man with similar qualities to her grandfather....

He is one of the kindest men in the world, she says. And yes, she knows that her prayers were answered when she met Brian.

She lit up with joy when the other man in her life, her brother,  arrived!

Her grandmother helped her get into her gown,

and  both absorbed this special moment...

Brittany had this fabulous idea to have her girls do a first look-

it was pretty adorable, don't you think??!!

We stepped onto the porch for a quick bridal portrait...

A couple of miles away,  the guys were getting ready-

And soon, it was time!!

This Kindgom Hall was Brittany's spiritual home, a place where she had been coming for the last few years.  Friends here had become her second family.

The building had been undergoing emergency repairs all summer long, and she had feared it would not be available for her wedding... But the repairs were made, and last Saturday the local congregations put it all back together, landscaping and all, making sure that it was prepared!

As it turned out, the tiny hall was packed wall to wall, as friends and family came from far and near to witness their vows and celebrate with them!
As the ceremony began,
she walked toward his beaming eyes, matching them with her own.

The talk was warm, funny, sweet, personal, and provided nuggets of Divine wisdom from the Scriptures to help their marriage to be as happy as this day, every day.

After they  officially became Mr and Mrs, we took a few photos.

No, I don't know the backstory with Brian's families animal claw pose, but hope to hear it one day!

Oh, did I mention the most romantic vehicle ever? A Rolls Royce. With Champagne!

Then we stole away to Brittany's families home for a little "all alone wedding day date" time with just the happy couple-

The Colonial Inn in Norwood, NJ was the setting for their reception, one of the funnest wedding celebrations we've ever been present at!
For now, here are just a few highlights from the reception venue and party while the digital developing goes on a little bit longer-
